Programming Initiatives

Presidents Bruncha program that allows for all of the chapter and council presidents to come together at the beginning of the academic year. This program allows student leaders to welcome each other as they begin classes, meet the professional staff members who work within the community, and to collaborate on ways to encourage cross-council programming.

Greek Leadership Conference (GLC) - a program that is for chapter members to gain a better understanding of the inner workings of positions. This program will be used for the Excellence in Leadership Seminar (ELS) sessions, which is a requirement for all recognized student organizations on campus to attend at least three (3). Chapters that do not attend the conference will need to attend the ELS sessions on their own time. 

Greek Leadership Retreat (GLR) - a program for chapter President's, chapter delegates, and Council officers from the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, and Panhellenic Association held in January every year. This retreat is a requirement for those individuals and are expected to be in attendance. Areas of focus at the retreat will consist of teambuilding activities to get to know the community leaders, discussions of how to be a leader in your chapter and in the community, and breakout sessions for each council to set goals for the next year. 

Greek Presidents Council (GPC) - These meetings, held once a month, brings together all Chapter Presidents from the Greek Life Office. During these meetings, Presidents will interact from each other as well gain insight from various topics such as time management, delegating items to officers/members, and much more.

Meet The Greeks Annual Kickoff - This Kickoff event is an annual event at the start of the fall semester where potential new members (PNMs) get their first chance to meet all of the Greek chapters that we offer. This Kickoff is a great way for PNMs to meet these groups in an informal setting on campus. 

Our Purpose Leadership Summit (OPLS) - Our Purpose Leadership Summit (OPLS) is a day-long summit that includes the following officers from Greek chapters: Presidents, Social Chairs, Recruitment Chairs, and New Member Educators. These officers will go through small and large group workshops on topics such as recruitment efforts, ACTIVE recruiting, hazing, and effective new member education programs. 

UIFI Ambassador Program - The UIFI Ambassador Program are for students have are an alumnus/alumnae member of the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI). UIFI is the North-American Interfraternity Conference’s (NIC) premier interfraternal leadership program. It brings together undergraduate members of fraternal organizations (fraternities, sororities, multi-cultural fraternal groups, local groups) to explore and elevate their leadership in their chapters and communities.
